Possible Fonts for My Poster

This font is called ‘Coliseum Pro’ and is very similar to the Blumhouse production font - suitability: This font could be suitable as the production company is Blumhouse so it enables more branding and synergy.

The main title of the film will be using the coliseum pro font in large dominant text and I might use the colour red. The title of the film will be presented at a bigger size compared to the tag line which will be in white using the same font but smaller text. In addition, the review/marketing saying ‘from insidious and saw’ will also use the same text but will be in white and a smaller font. The red in vengeance will show that the word has more importance and will link to the connotations of blood/horror/danger. The billing credits are usually of a different font as normally they tend to use a thinner line. One of the fonts that i found is called ‘steel tongs’.

This font would work for the billing credits for the bottom of the poster.

This ‘holbeard’ font is also very effective for billing credits so I will choose between the two for my final film poster.
