  • The navigation menu creates an easy user experience which is a clear convention of online marketing
  • There is a drop down of categories which makes the platforms easy to navigate (home, synopsis)
  • There are interactive tools for the audience such as voting for their favourite song (interactivity is a convention)
  • The trailer is being played in the background on the main part of the home page
  • The title ‘BACK TO BLACK’ is prominently placed in the centre of the page
  • Another convention is easy clicks for the user such as ‘watch trailer’ which immediately takes you to the trailer
  • There are social media links which at a quick click, take you to the films social media pages (synergy)
  • At the top right hand corner there is a share icon which allows audiences/uses to share the film link on their own social media which is another convention of effective marketing
  • The layout is quite simple and there is not as much detail on the website which links to the genre of the film and the lower production values
